Why previous models are retained

Older shoe records can help runners identify a model they already own, understand how a product line has changed, or compare a previous version with its replacement. Cadence retains these pages as reference records rather than deleting them when a newer model appears.

What archived status means

Archived is a Cadence database status, not a guarantee that a shoe has been formally discontinued or removed from every market. Remaining inventory may still be available from certain retailers, and release status can vary by country, size, and colorway.

Comparing versions

When an older shoe has a clear successor, compare their listed weight, stack height, heel-to-toe drop, foam, plate design, intended use, and price. Changes between versions are not automatically improvements for every runner; fit, ride, and individual preference can differ. The comparison tool can place a previous model and its replacement side by side.

Historical prices and specifications

Displayed prices generally reflect the price recorded for the model, not its present clearance, resale, or secondary-market value. Specifications may also differ by size, region, or source.
