Drawing direct inspiration from Mizuno’s pinnacle race-day model, the Wave Rebellion Pro, the Wave Rebellion Flash 2 is reengineered to deliver a similar fast, aggressive feel while staying true to its role as an uptempo training companion. This update sharpens the Flash’s identity with race-inspired geometry and upgraded cushioning, giving runners a performance-driven ride that feels quick, efficient, and purpose-built for hard efforts.

At the heart of the shoe is Mizuno’s SMOOTH SPEED ASSIST geometry, which promotes forward momentum and smooth transitions at faster paces. The midsole now features a top layer of ENERZY LITE+, Mizuno’s most responsive and bouncy compound, delivering energetic toe-offs and a lively underfoot feel. Beneath it, a layer of ENERZY foamadds durability and stability for repeated training use. Sandwiched between the foams, a stiffer fiberglass Wave plateenhances snap and propulsion, making tempo runs and intervals feel faster with less effort.

Underfoot, the G3 rubber outsole, shared with the Wave Rebellion Pro, provides reliable grip and long-lasting traction. Up top, a lightweight engineered mesh upper offers breathable comfort and secure lockdown without unnecessary bulk. With its race-inspired ride and thoughtful upgrades, the Wave Rebellion Flash 2 is built to push training sessions closer to race-day intensity.
