Ride 19
Nearly 20 years of refinement, and the Ride just keeps getting better. The Ride 19 is Saucony's most complete daily trainer yet — plush enough for recovery days, lively enough to pick up the pace whenever you feel like it.
Details
The Saucony Ride has spent nearly two decades earning its reputation as one of the most dependable daily trainers in running. The Ride 19 doesn't mess with that legacy — it builds on it with the most meaningful set of upgrades the line has seen in years.
The biggest change is underfoot. A reformulated PWRRUN+ supercritical foam midsole replaces the previous generation's compound, and the difference is noticeable from the first mile. Energy return feels higher, cushioning feels deeper, and the ride has a livelier, more fun quality without losing the balanced, reliable feel that Ride regulars expect. It's the kind of upgrade that makes you wonder why it took this long.
The upper has been rebuilt from scratch with a softer, more adaptive engineered mesh that moves with the foot rather than against it. A redesigned heel collar and refined fit system lock things in comfortably without requiring a break-in period, and the overall feel is more tailored than previous versions. On the outsole, increased rubber coverage in high-wear zones and deeper flex grooves improve both durability and traction on wet and dry surfaces — a practical upgrade for runners who put serious miles on their daily trainers.
Easy days, tempo efforts, long runs, post-work jogs — the Ride 19 handles all of it without asking you to think twice about your shoe choice. That's exactly what a great daily trainer is supposed to do.
