The Mizuno Wave Rider 30 arrives as a genuine milestone — the 30th edition of Mizuno's flagship daily trainer, and by all accounts the best version they've ever built. The biggest update is in the midsole, where Mizuno has moved from a half-length to a full-length Wave Plate for the first time in the series' history. Made from PEBAX RNEW plant-based TPU, it runs heel to toe to disperse impact across a broader area, delivering the smooth, stable, and efficient transitions the Wave Rider has always been known for — just more of it.

Layered above the plate is ENERZY NXT nitrogen-infused EVA foam, Mizuno's most responsive compound yet. The nitrogen infusion process injects micro-bubbles into the foam to create a softer, springier ride that absorbs impact and rebounds with each step — keeping your legs fresher across longer distances without ever feeling mushy or unstable. Mizuno also lowered the drop from 10mm to 8mm this generation, continuing the gradual modernization of the line and opening the shoe up to a wider range of runners and strike patterns.

The X10 carbon rubber outsole is Mizuno's most durable compound, providing reliable grip and long-lasting traction across all road conditions. Up top, an engineered knit upper made from nearly entirely recycled materials wraps the foot in a soft, breathable embrace with extra padding at the heel and tongue for a premium step-in feel.
