HokaCielo X1 3.0
Every gram justified, every split earned — the Cielo X1 3.0 is Hoka's most lethal race day weapon yet.
Details
The Hoka Cielo X1 3.0 is Hoka's flagship racing supershoe, engineered without compromise for marathon, half marathon, and fast road racing where fractions of a second define the difference between a good race and a great one. Every element of this shoe exists for one purpose — to help you run faster with less effort.
The dual-layer PEBA superfoam midsole has been tuned slightly softer in this version, delivering more bounce, more compression, and more explosive energy return with every stride. PEBA is among the most responsive foam compounds available in competitive running footwear, and the Cielo X1 3.0 uses it to its fullest potential — storing energy through landing and releasing it aggressively through toe-off to propel you forward with minimal effort.
A redesigned carbon fiber plate removes the previous version's winglets in favor of a more aggressive toe spring geometry. The result is a smoother, more powerful heel-to-toe roll that drives forward momentum with every footfall. Combined with the softer PEBA stack, the plate creates a ride that feels both explosive and controlled at race pace.
The new textured polyurethane outsole delivers superior grip on road surfaces while shaving weight compared to traditional rubber compounds — an important trade-off at the elite racing level where every gram counts. Up top, a breathable leno weave upper provides a precision racing fit with asymmetrical lacing and a dynamic vamp construction that eliminates bulk and keeps the foot locked in securely from gun to finish line.
For elite runners and serious amateurs targeting personal bests, the Cielo X1 3.0 is the shoe built to deliver them.
